No More Embarrassing Alarms

The reminder is a miniature low cost EAS system that allows staff to quickly check that all tags are removed from the purchase before giving it to the customer. This eliminates the embarrassment that can happen if a customer produces an alarm.

Increase speed of checkout

If a tag is left on the clothing and an alarm is produced the time it takes to bring back the customer and fix the problem can cost valuable time as well as frustration with both staff and customers especially when it’s busy.

Un-intrusive

The Reminder houses all the electronics in a small cabinet that can be fixed anywhere near the counter. A customizable antenna loop can be made to fit anywhere from underneath counters to the side of a cabinet. Built in LED’s will show the status of the reminder as well as customizable tones to show the detection of a tag.

Capabilities

The Reminder is available in all standard frequencies from 1.75 MHz to 8.2 MHz The DR2 Reminder will effectively detect tags or paper labels using a simple wire loop antenna, no costly “pad” type of antenna is needed! Detection ranges depend on size/shape of antenna loop and tag size and type. Up to 50 cm (20 inches) of detection range can be realized in low RF noise environments.
